WebElect, as a company, has been founded in 1998 and is seen as a pioneer in digital voting in the Netherlands. With the advent of the interactive internet, digital voting became accessible to many voters and with the arrival of smartphones and tablets, digital voting can be done from any street corner, so to speak. We are proud that we have recently launched our completely updated software. The most modern techniques have been used to redesign the familiar functionality of WebElect.
WebElect acts as a (digital) extension of your election committee. In close cooperation, whereby an election coach is assigned to each election, the election is organized together with the committee. Hereby the details of the voters, the candidates and the rules for the election are provided to us by the committee. We ensure that the election database is filled, that voters are called so they can vote. Immediately after the election is closed, the election results will be available for the committee.
WebElect guarantees that your elections are conducted with integrity and fairness. Our systems run in well-secured data centers. We are ISO 27001 certified whereby it is guaranteed that our customers can expect an honest result and that the customer data is in safe hands. Data is stored encrypted in our databases and due to the unique combination of login code and password, the voting process is completely anonymous.
With the WebElect online election program, voters can access their online ballot anywhere, anytime on any device.
The election program contains functions for the committee with which the entire election process can be followed. So you always have an up-to-date schedule, you can manage documents (e-mail texts), view current turnout percentages and the result is available to you immediately after the ballot box is closed.
